How products are selected

We start from the full set of gummy products available for a given health concern at major US retailers, then screen on verification status, formulation, and review corpus. No brand can submit a product for consideration, and no brand sees a page before it publishes.

How products are evaluated

Per the published methodology at How we rank. Every score component is shown on the page.

What "screened" means, and what it does not

We review labels, certifications, published testing, the clinical literature on each active ingredient, and public customer reviews. We do not perform laboratory testing. We will never describe our work as testing, and we will never say we tried a product that nobody here has tried.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it in place, add a dated correction note at the bottom of the page, and update the review date. We do not quietly edit.

Sources

Every factual claim about testing, certification, or clinical evidence links to its source. Where a source is behind a paywall, we say so.

Health claims

Dietary supplements are not drugs. We use structure and function language only, and where we cite a clinical trial we describe what the trial found rather than what the product does.

Review cycle

Every page is reviewed on a 90-day cycle, with the review date and next-review date shown in the byline.

Conflicts of interest

Disclosed on our disclosure page. If any member of the editorial team holds equity in, consults for, or is compensated by a brand covered on this site, that relationship is disclosed on every page where the brand appears.
